Maldives has always fascinated him with its beautiful nature, opportunities for leisure and very welcoming culture. However, he never had an opportunity to explore it as an airline crew operating a flight. He decided to go ahead and change that.
As an airline crew, he was already receiving discount rates across all sectors. However, there was no benefit offering discounted holidays in the Maldives. He founded Crew Maldives Holidays (CMH) and started forming partnerships with local resorts. CMH was founded in 2019, which means that it had to face the COVID-19 shortly after. The business completely stopped for some time, but at that point Martin knew it was something he wanted to keep building.
