Transfers

The stunning island of ‘Ookolhufinolhu’ (sandbank point) is located in Lhaviyani Atoll, a 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport.

Seaplane Transfer

Seaplane transfers are arranged by the resort based on the international flight arrival details provided in your booking reservation.
Guests will be transported on the first available shared seaplane.
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, a resort representative will meet you outside the arrival hall holding a paging board with your name, assist with luggage, and guide you through the seaplane check-in process.
Seaplane check-in is conveniently located inside the arrival hall.
A short bus transfer of approximately 10 minutes will take you to the seaplane terminal, where you will wait in a designated lounge area.
The seaplane flight duration is approximately 30 to 50 minutes, landing directly at the resort.

Important Notes – Seaplane Transfers

Seaplane services are operated by a third-party provider and are subject to weather conditions, daylight availability, and flying-hour restrictions imposed by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA).
Seaplane transfers operate only during daylight hours, from sunrise to sunset.

Flight Timing Requirements

Please ensure your international arrival is before 3:00 PM, as seaplane check-in closes at 4:15 PM.
Your international departure from the Maldives must be after 9:00 AM to allow sufficient time for the seaplane transfer to Malé International Airport.
Seaplane operations are available only during daylight hours.
