Located 42 km from Male in the North Ari Atoll, Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon is accessible by seaplane - a journey that takes approximately 25 minutes; or 90 minutes by speed boat. Whichever you choose - prepare to be awe-inspired by the beauty of the Maldives as you are made privy to the azure blue oceans and open skies.

Option 1: Speedboat Transfer

Speedboat transfers do not operate on fixed schedules and are arranged by the resort. Guests will be transported on the first available shared speedboat, in line with their international flight arrival time and the speedboat timing limitations applicable below.

Your international flight arrival details, as provided in your booking reservation, will be promptly shared with the resort. Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will meet you outside the arrival hall, assist you with the transfer arrangements, or introduce you to a resort representative who will guide you through the speedboat transfer process.

• Speedboat Duration: Approx. 90 minutes (subject to weather conditions)

Same-day combined transfers can be arranged for international flights arriving before 3:15 PM and departing after 9:30 AM.

Option 2 (Seaplane Transfer):

• Seaplane transfers are arranged by the resort based on the international flight arrival details provided in your booking reservation.

• Guests will be transported on the first available shared seaplane.

• Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, a resort representative will meet you outside the arrival hall holding a paging board with your name, assist with luggage, and guide you through the seaplane check-in process.

• Seaplane check-in is conveniently located inside the arrival hall.

• A short bus transfer of approximately 10 minutes will take you to the seaplane terminal, where you will wait in a designated lounge area.

• The seaplane flight duration is approximately 30 to 50 minutes, landing directly at the resort.

Important Notes – Seaplane Transfers

• Seaplane services are operated by a third-party provider and are subject to weather conditions, daylight availability, and flying-hour restrictions imposed by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA).

• Seaplane transfers operate only during daylight hours, from sunrise to sunset.

Flight Timing Requirements

• Please ensure your international arrival is before 3:00 PM, as seaplane check-in closes at 4:15 PM.

• Your international departure from the Maldives must be after 9:00 AM to allow sufficient time for the seaplane transfer to Malé International Airport.

• Seaplane operations are available only during daylight hours.
